If you are looking for the perfect stylish but relaxed venue for your Arizona wedding, you would be hard pressed to find a more delightful spot than the Windmill Winery. Set on a lake it offers vintage locations with a shabby chic flair.
Here are some things to think about if you are considering having your wedding at the Windmill Winery.

the windmill winery

The property now known as the Windmill Winery began its life as a brickyard. Established in 1906, many of the buildings in Phoenix and Florence were built using handmade bricks from the "George Smith Brick Foundry." The property was later leased to members of George Smith's family and turned into a dairy farm. In 2001 it was purchased by the current owners who were looking for a place for their expanding plant nursery.
The grounds they purchased were littered with bricks and old farm buildings. They refurbished some of the buildings and used the bricks to build the grand entrance and the Aqueduct Arches-- one of the property's ceremony locations.
Today the winery is a premier wedding destination that strives to create a seamless experience for its guests.

Winery History

The Barn - The Barn is a 5000 square foot structure that incorporates both tradition and western country charm. Refinished and climate controlled, this is a popular reception location. When choosing the Barn as your wedding location you have your choice of ceremony locations. The Aqueduct Arches were built as a romantic, roman-inspired location, beneath which you and your intended can exchange vows before family and friends. When choosing the Barn for your wedding location you may also use the Twisted Tree for your ceremony. The Twisted Tree offers you a luscious green lawn with a Mesquite tree as the centerpiece.
The Lake House - The Lake House offers a Hamptons vibe right in the heart of Arizona. Set on a lake, wedding couples have use of the Lake House for their reception. You can exchange your vows on the pier where loved ones can look share this moment with you while taking in the picturesque lake view.

Wedding Locations

The Windmill Winery offers a number of amenities to bridal couples. Both wedding locations offer both a bridal cottage and groom's quarters. Each bridal cottage is a quiet place for the bride and her attendants to prepare for the wedding. Each bridal cottage also includes a patio where the bride can enjoy a bit of privacy and serenity for reflection before taking one of the biggest steps of her life.
The groom's quarters are a place for the groom and his attendants to prepare for the wedding and enjoy a little male bonding before meeting his bride to exchange vows.
